The Train, the Forest

The Train, the Forest

CATALOGUE TEXT
A train journey. Looking out of the window at the fleeting landscape. A walk through the forest. Attempts to bring the near and distant branches into optical order. The thrill of speed and the chaos of lines are confusing. They leave behind sketches of what is and paint sketches of what imagination can combine from its sensual residues. With an electronic crack Patrick Buhr pushes hand-drawn lines into the third dimension. An electricity pylon waves its tentacles.
